Rig Veda 10.3

एतावानस्य महिमाऽतो ज्यायांश्च पूरुषः । पादोऽस्य विश्वा भूतानि त्रिपादस्यामृतं दिवि ॥

etavan asya mahima ato jyayamsh cha purushah | pado'sya vishva bhutani tripad asya amritam divi

Such is his greatness, and the Cosmic Being is even greater than this. All beings are one-fourth of him; three-fourths are the immortal in heaven.

इतनी है उनकी महिमा — और पुरुष इससे भी बड़े हैं। उनका एक चौथाई भाग ही समस्त भूतों का रूप है; तीन चौथाई अमृत रूप में द्यौ में निवास करते हैं।
