Yoga Sutras of Patanjali 4.10

तासामनादित्वं चाशिषो नित्यत्वात् ॥

tasam anaditvam cha ashisho nityatvat

These impressions are beginningless, because the desire to live is eternal.

उन (वासनाओं) का अनादित्व है, क्योंकि आशीष (जीने की इच्छा) नित्य है।
